Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu safe? BJJ is one of the safest martial arts when practiced correctly. Training partners control the pace, especially for beginners, and our coaches closely supervise every class.
Do I need to be in shape to start jiu jitsu? No. Jiu jitsu gets you in shape. Come as you are.
What's the difference between Gi and No-Gi? In Gi, you wear a traditional kimono and can grip the fabric. In No-Gi, you wear a rash guard and shorts — no clothing grips. Both are great; most students train both.
Is jiu jitsu good for kids? Jiu jitsu builds discipline, focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills, and teaches practical self-defense and anti-bullying strategies. We run age-appropriate programs starting at age 3.
